me and my family have been going to Tremblant since i was little. great place! great skiing, great village, great accomodation, great vibe… just awesome! one year we rented a condo right at the foot of the mountain, so it took us literally two minutes to get from our place to the chair lift!
I love it here, but we need some better restaurants
Hi Francoise, We love it at Tremblant too. I thought that you had great restaurants, but I guess if you live there you would probably find them a bit touristy. At least Tremblant is always growing and new restaurants are popping up every season. Thanks for the comment.
Wow, I would love to go to Mont Tremblant and experience the chills there. It would really be a great experience and I hope I get to have a hot tub bath! I have already planned my visit to Montreal and have got some good reviews on http://www.mystudiomontreal.com for the accommodation needs. Hoping to them soon!
Hi GlobarentMSM You will definitely have no problem getting a hot tub bath. Most hotels have them. They are a popular thing in the wintertime and perfect for after a day on the hill. Mont Tremblant is only about an hour and a half from Montreal, so you definitely have to go there. I think that they even have a shuttle bus from downtown somewhere if my memory serves me well. something to look into.
Me and my family are going there in January right after christmas, and i’m so excited. it looks great! yay!
Hi Kara, Have a great trip. You will love Mont Tremblant, and at that time of the year, you will have great conditions. Let us know how the trip goes!
That hot tub looks really relaxing.. But how do you get out of the tub? You will get cold, right? 🙂 You know, I’m not the cold weather type. I, like Shannon, will live vicariously through your winter adventures. 🙂 .-= Amy @ The q Family´s last blog ..Little Zoo Aboard Carnival Cruise =-.
Yes, you do get cold, but that is what the big towels and robes are for. And because it is so hot in the tub, it isn’t that bad. Your body temperature is so hot that you have time to get to the pool or the sauna or back inside before you start feeling the chill. It looks crazy I know, But I enjoy a hot tub more in the winter than during the summer. You must try sometime…and the good news for you is that you can go home after a winter vacation. We “Crazy Canucks” have to live in it 🙂
I grew up going to Gray Rocks every year for about 10 years which shares the mountain with mont tremblant.
God it’s been so many years since I’ve been there. It’s so gorgeous up there, it’s breathtaking!
Wow, I know Gray Rocks, but haven’t been there. That is really cool that you went every year.
Shannon, you are so lucky! My parents left for Florida for the winter last week and they have told me that it is hot hot hot! I am jealous. We aren’t snowing yet here, but I think it is coming soon!
