That ship looks absolutely beyond… Only 112 people? Alas, I’m not sure I could hang lol. I will live vicariously through you two yet again!
That’s definitely the beauty of a Quark Expedition. It’s not overcrowded at all allowing for a lot of time in the zodiacs and on land and by the time the trip is over, you know nearly everyone!
Awesome! I’ve never considered heading up there, so it will be interesting to see the photos/videos that come out of the trip and see if it’s something that will change my mind!
Thanks T.W. Hopefully we’ll love it and you can be sure we’ll be sharing lots of photos and videos
[…] Come to Greenland with us in August. You’ll receive 40% off your Arctic Circle expedition with Quark Expeditions. […]
We’ve got Greenland in our sights as we continue to visit the Arctic destinations. Can’t wait to hear about your trip!
That’s great to hear Jennifer, I know that you’ve been to quite a few Polar destinations. Very cool.
This sounds awesome! I’ll get to Greenland eventually. Looking forward to hearing about your trip!
Thanks, I hope you get there too, we’ll scout it all out for you.
Looks like an amazing trip and the Sea Spirit looks pretty cozy. I think Greenland would be fascinating. Have an awesome time! Can’t wait to read about it and see your photos.
The Sea Spirit is a great ship, we’re looking forward to getting back on it.
Looks like it’ll be an awesome experience, can’t wait to hear about it!
We can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Bummer, we’d love to have you join us. It is great that Quark is offering this. A lot of people want to do the arctic expeditions but so often they are priced out of many people’s reach. With 40% off it helps a lot.
Oh my GAWD, I so wish I could join you guys. If only I wasn’t already in Europe. And if only I had the extra money!
Can’t wait to read about the adventure.
Haha, isnt’ that the way it goes. We would have loved to have you along. Where are you in Europe? Greenland/Iceland isn’t too far away! It’s 40% off, a once in a lifetime price 🙂
I’d love to visit Greenland one day. However, I’ve always found it ironic that Iceland is green, full of beautiful scenes and lots of waterfalls while Greenland is full of ice and snow. Still worth visiting though and will be interested to see what your experience is like 🙂
Haha, it’s a funny fact isn’t it. We’re going to be sticking around Iceland for a bit as well,so we’ll be able to compare the two. I’m excited to see them both. Our favourite part of Antarctica was the blue ice, so I think Greenland is going to be astounding. I’m wondering which one I am going to love more. Glad we’ll have the chance to see both at once.
Iceland has always been on my list, and Greenland sounds pretty awesome as well.
I think it’s great that you were able to work with Quark to offer this to your readers… I’d love to go hang out with you guys. Too bad I don’t have the vacation days to go do it ;P
Thanks Beth, it would have been awesome to have you along. We really enjoy working with Quark and look forward to seeing the Arctic with them. They really are a class act company. When you do decide to go, we highly recommend the Sea Spirit. It’s so beyond the other Arctic vessels that are more like work ships. This actually feels like you are on vacation. It still feels like an expedition giving you a great adventure, but with a comfortable, elegant and fun experience.
Wow, looks like an amazing experience!
Thanks Mike, we are so looking forward to it. Ever since we went to Antarctica with Quark, we’ve been thinking about the Arctic. The polar regions are truly spectacular and Greenland is still so off the beaten path, that it’s going to be amazing, a whole new world.
This sounds amazing!
Thanks Helen, we’re very excited and hope that a lot of people can join us. The polar regions are the most difficult and expensive to get to and 40% off is a great deal. I’m doing the math and just heard what our friends spent on a Caribbean cruise last month, and I’m like..you should have gone to the Arctic! Their bar tab was enough to make go yikes!
